What kind of morons write benefits to illegals for WC into a state law? We blame the illegals for a lot of things but this is gross stupidity on the part of lawmakers and needs to be changed. No wonder other countries laugh at America. We can’t get anything right. People walk into a state dinner un-invited under the nose of the Secret Service. Some jerk at the TSA posts security screening procedures on-line. Is anybody over-seeing these idiots?
They hired this “illegal immigrant”, let him work in the meat factory, but when he was injured they claim he’s an “illegal”, fired him and don’t want to pay WC? This is hilarious, of course he’s going to receive benefits…and because Cargill is so ridic I hope the guy receives unemployement too:)
Bleeding heart Lynn. The various compensation systems in this country are intended for citizens of this country, not for everyone who sneaks across the border illegally and has no vested interest in this country. Illegals don’t support the economy and they send most of the money they earn back to their families in their adobe huts in Mexico. They have not EARNED the benefits that citizens have. We can’t afford to be the welfare state for non-citizens. They’re luck to get a job much less qualify for benefits.
While I do have issues with paying illegals comp benefits, I also have a bigger issue with the companies that hire them and then try and dodge compensating them. Reed, the next time you bite into your big steak think about the fact that if not for undocumented workers you probably would pay twice as much for it. Pull the trigger on a loaded gun and you are responsible for where the bullet ends up. Hire illegals and you should still be responsible for any end result.
