I don’t write in Illinois, but if I failed to issue a WC policy for an insured they would surely receive a mailed notice including threat of a $10,000 penalty. Illinois not being a monopolistic state, I would think the same should hold true there?

from my understanding he had ties to Chicago politics and was in line for governement bail out, if he needed one.
