Most of the educational systems have brought the financial problems on themselves. We use to under pay teachers but respect them highly because they actually educated our kids. Now we over pay them for 3/4 of a years work, and there is very little educating completed. Respect is another question. Send the money to help the Aids orphans in Zambia.

    1. It is well kwown that Punitive Damages are designed to punish the defedant, not to enrich the Plaintiff.

    2. In light of above, all Punitive Damages awarded should be paid to the American Cancer Institute to further research.

What compassionate lawyer would object to this?

In light of the budget shortfalls that are about to hit just about every educational district in this country, I’d say split the punitive damages with the educational system.

What Smart States Should Do –

A smart state should encourage Wisconsin to be a leader of such legislation. For example, Wisconsin should adopt all the laws of California, New York, and Michigan. Fine examples of what good, caring legislation can do to a states economy.

Then smart companies will move to smart states.
