it should read:
Empress was damaged when a construction sparked a fire. Fire Sprinklers were off at the time due to construction, which is normal. They had firewatches but were unable to contain the fire because it spread quickly. Luckily the damage was minimized to the Pavilion area.
…the pavilion is a separate structure from the casino. The Empress is one of the ‘river boat’ casinos in Illinois. The casino is actually on the river. The pavillion has meeting rooms, restaurants,kitchens and other service areas and is located on shore. I believe the two structures are connected by a roof.

Does it REALLY matter that much?
I am more interested in the construction, the cause of the loss and the estimated amount of the loss including any possible loss of income.
