you read that right…notwithstanding what he did, he ran Niles well for all those years with a surplus every year, lower property taxes because of industry and a free bus to date!

so you’re saying he was a good Mayor, in spite of being a greedy ******* and accepting illegal money to the tune of $9,000 a year for 47 years. The insurance Agent should also be jailed. It is illegal to rebate money like that.

Welcome to Illinois Politics – homes of your new President of the U.S…. corruption, greed, lying, and ZERO accountability. The agent wasn’t jailed, and didn’t even have his license revoked. In fact, the State didn’t even investigate. Not to mention, the IRS didn’t stick their nose into they years of pay-offs. The DEMS can do anything in Illinois – and more specifically CHICAGO. Pay-offs, kickbacks, side deals, corruption. DALEY, REZKO, BLAGO, OBAMA…. All the same.

We have heard about the mayor. What ever happened to the agency and owner who paid the mayor?
