    Must be arson causing more than 10 million is not such a bad crime – hey – out in 10 months! Guess you have to be arrested for possession of pot or something as nearly critical to get any real time in the clink.

    And on top of that, having to repay the school’s deductible. Why not repay the insurance company while they are at it? And what do you think are the chances that the $2,000,000 will be paid to the university?

    Kudos to the pin-headed judge who allowed this to occur. He just sent a message to every moron in the state that the state of Iowa isn’t really serious about holding anyone accountable or punishing criminal acts. Millions of dollars paid by taxpayers go to pay for damages because of a “harmless prank” isn’t funny. It would be appropriate for these idiots to at least receives some “street justice” in the form of a severe beating.

    I personally know these kids. what they did was wrong, but it was a mistake. so **** you!
