I grieve with the parents of the boys that were killed. I can’t imagine their shock, horror, and sadness.
The pictures of merit badges, Order of the Arrow sash, and neckerchiefs brought back a lot of memories (And I’m and old duffer).
But to hear how the rest of the scouts put their training to use and saved some of their friends brought pride to this old scout’s heart. They did what they were trained to do! The boy scouts are still one of the greatest organizations for boys!
