OK – what caused the cart to ‘tip over’ – gremlins?. As it took co-workers 1/2 hour to miss and look for the deceased, evidently she was working alone and – yes ? – was the one who tipped the cart over somehow?

She was trapped for 1/2 hour & “suffocated”, but died three days later? It is a sad ending, but why would it take so long?

No lawsuit yet? Could this be the first time in history that a worker *accident* does not lead to a lawsuit? Could someone finally be accepting of the consequences of their loved one’s own actions? Or perhaps the plaintiff attorneys haven’t located next of kin yet….

Article states that there was a fine for not having safety sensors. Apparently, there were safety sensors, but they were de-activated. Looks like the installation and/or servicing company may be placed on the hook if they did not properly warn the hosp. of the hazard posed by using the battery devices. I’m suspect that the suit is coming soon. I wouldn’t be surprised if the hospital asks the installation/servicing co. to pay the OSHA fine.
