the almight $ at work again. why reduce the costs by 3 cents once you past the same point? after, does that not mean it costs the same and now who’s making money? by increasing fees, is this supposed to be a legislative approval needed because that is apart of the budget for the state. they needed to plan this awhile ago, if this system is more than 30 yrs old. sounds like they wanted a quick fix and settled w/o the proper process. also, it allowed the consultant to recieve additional payment after the fact for every record being sought after. if there are 4 million records, it sounds like there will be at least a minimum of 4 million dollars xfering hands! um…and that is if only these records are accessed once. so how long will they keep getting this $1 @ record?

I am renewing an account today with 27 drivers and the carrier requires the agency to submit MVR reports on all drivers. That is a cost of $189.00 on just one account. Other companies are gearing up to charging the agency for MVR reports and this is a major bite for small agencies. Thanks Missouri !
