It’s gotta be that way. It sounds harsh, but without caps on states and municipality liabilities imagine taxes trying to cover their insurance bills with the way crazy jury verdicts are these days.
I agree we need caps but I think they are being set at too low a number..I have to think that 750K would be a more realistic and appropriate number as this would help those who are truly injured..Especially to those families who lost a loved one who may well have a primary wage earner in the family.
