Why do I feel that these articles in IJ are lacking in necessary detail so often? Take a posting from one side and just put it out on the site with no balance or research. These just leave me totally unsatisfied as to content. Does anyone out there have any that would explain this in reasonable detail?

Good grief, what a bunch of crap! What a waste of money and the time of the Court. Only thing that will come of this is the fattening of the pockets of the scumbag attorneys.

How is this a junk lawsuit or a load of crap when these are CITIZENS of this country being discriminated against? If these were illegal aliens then you would have a leg to stand on — other than that, SHUT UP! There should be equitable and fair premiums for all CITIZENS of this great country. Have a heart!

So, if an observation is made on the facts that appears to slight the black, it can be addressed. However, if an observation is made based on fact that is not so flattering to the black, like higher crime rates, illigitmate births, percentage on welfare, etc…it is racism to state it and act on it. All black people must be like the ones I see in every fraudulent commercial, they camp and ski and are all doctors and lawyers and happily married.

Saints Fan — Don’t need to shut up but you are more than welcome to STFU anytime you want. In America, I am allowed to exercise and indulge in freedom of speech and that’s what I did and am doing now. Move to communist China if you want censorship.

BTW- this is lawsuit is all about a shake down for lazy people that don’t want to work. There was no discrimination in this matter, they are making meritless ALLEGATIONS, not truth. Nice try though.

    To Reagan, Lauren and Johnnie…

We are talking insurance here but you ignoramuses ignore the fact that it is mostly WHITE people that are on welfare and WHITE WOMEN that stand to gain also with affirmative action. There are a fair amount of African Americans that are living the so-called good life and while there are many that are below the poverty level due to their own making or because life has dealt them a bad hand – hell I see plenty of whites in the homeless shelters I volunteer in and everyone has their own reason for being there. When Blacks do a better slice of the pie then we must entertainers (i.e. here to entertain YOU) or rappers and not entrepeneurs or investors and the like. Black people can’t get things honestly or so people like you think.
The insurance issue here is racism and no where in the article did it warrant such outlandish statements as Reagan has made. No Blacks that look at this website always make comments about whites but you whites feel compelled to act out your racist leanings when articles like this come up. It’s fair and equitable insurance premiums, people. If the media wants to report on salacious things about Blacks then that their poison and apparently you’ve injected with it. Blacks have their share of problems but is it okay for White men to loot companies, artificially inflate the price of stocks for their respective companies and then bail when the stock price drops and then all 401ks tied to said stocks drop considerably across racial lines via the employees (i.e. Enron, MCI, etc., etc.)?
Statistics are fine and can help address a problem and via the media and Bill Cosby all of the dirty laundry has been aired. But when you can come up with a viable solution, MR and MRS Nancy and Ronald Reagan America then please see the Al Sharptons, Jessie Jacksons and Warren Ballentines of the world with your “solutions” whatever they might be. Blacks built this country whether you want to admit or not and you also other minorities do your dirty work for you and took all of the credit (i.e. the Alaskan Highway).
Also, please learn how to spell illegitimate. Black people usually have their babies while whites don’t think of abortion as killing but a legitimate form of birth control. And I think White men are still more likely to be serial killers than Blacks and occasionally eat the victims…

    Just a thought…

Also, Johnnie, you have to be gainfully employed in order to get insurance benefits in the first place, idiot. It’s the fact that the employees zip codes were the case for discrimination as the article exactly stated. Everyone is entitled per the employer they work for to get the same benefits and not some get this and others get that. Some people cannot read and rather see it from a racist angle. You white people shame me and other whites.
