Where are all of our liberal friends that like to believe corruption only exists in the Republican party? Is everyone quiet because this guy was a leader in the NAACP?
I missed the NAACP reference the first go ’round, just focused in on him being a member of the Oversight Commission that is supposed to watch out for this stuff. It’s politicians in general that are crooks. And they wonder why we all feel so disenfranchised.
Shhh… we don’t like to admit to government corruption or inneptitude around here unless it can be tied to Bush, Haliburton or some insurance company’s handling of Katrina.
This guy’ll be fine… haven’t you noticed that “upstanding” members of the black community especially if they’re politicians and liberal are exempt from negative results?
If you can smoke crack and be reelected a governor if you can horribly mishandle a hurricane and get reelected, what’s a couple sports tickets to steer some business one way or the other?
