A story like this does not surprise me this day and age in the internet. You always have had since the internet was invented have had people who try to make worse an already bad situation and probably always will. IP monitoring and recording can help catch these pranksters and get them behind bars where they belong thus making the internet more safer and more enjoyable to browse.

Sounds like the NWS is jealous. These guys forcasts and weather alerts were about as accurate as theirs.

The best reports of tornados come from spotters in the field. If you grew up in parts of Texas you grew up spotting tornados out of necessity. If anyone over 12 years old calls in with a tornado on the ground with a debris field it is going to be taken seriously. If anyone calls in B.S. a judge in Texas will take their *** down seriously. They would spend years in prison and fall down several times getting in and out of squad cars, climbing stairs, falling thru defective railings, being beaten by other prisoners before they are sentenced. Send this son of a ***** to Texas for a quick trial.

Too many sick people in this world, hopefully they will be caught and spend a few years in prison!

Maybe, just maybe he was tripping on some drugs & he was doing the reporting at a crack house & they can take it all down at the same time – get a warrant!

I find it hilarious that the TV news station reported on this for 3 hours. Did they even try to talk to anyone in the area before they went into full blown alert status?
