Can\’t say I\’m surprised that she\’s a pastor. Whenever I hear that a person\’s strongly tied to the religeous sector, red flags immediately go up.

We\’ve done business with agents who are also pastors, ministers, etc. and low and behold if the Department of Insurance isn\’t calling me about them somewhere down the line. I mean it never fails…100%. They usually take off with the premium, never forwarding on to the Company. I can say I have not done business with someone tied to the religeous sector where they didn\’t turn out to be a crook or the Department ended up hunting them down. Sorry, but it\’s true.

I\’m by no means saying all pastors or ministers are like this, however, I am saying that I think some of them use the title as a veil. Just watch the news. Many times the kidnapper or child molester is somehow tied in heavily with the church. Very scary. You never know these days.

Anyway, this lady mentioned in this article is completely pathetic, being a pastor and stealing money from a child. Glad to hear she has to pay it back. What a loser!!

Maybe she can get some anti-freeze refreshments from the lady in NYC.

Not only should she have to pay back all the money, they should subject her to continous screenings of Farenheit 911 and An Inconvenient Truth. Then again, I don\’t advocate torture….

Nothing like painting anyone who works in a church or attends a church with the same broad brush. It really happens with 100% of the people you deal with? I seriously doubt that.
I\’ve belonged to and been a board member of a couple of churches, & I can tell you that nothing like this has ever happened. Churches are businesses, and when there are no controls, things get messed up as they do in any business. Weak management leads to problems in churches and businesses. Being a pastor of the church has nothing to do with her theft, despicable as it was.
Churches are full of hypocrites, and there is alway room for one more…
