Insurers. especially the larger P & C carriers should have the actuarial capabilities to quantify the effect the proposed legislation will have on rates.

They should aggressively share their findings with the public. Tell the public that if they desire their insurance premiums to go up by xxx% then they should support the bill.

Would seem to me that the higher premiums dictated by such legislation should financially benefit the carriers by providing more premium reserve funds to invest.

More laws only preclude the customer from getting quality service. Now, each claim will be held to a certain \”time frame\”, thereby causing larger reserves to be set, less investigative time to handle \”questionable\” claims, and more fraud. For those of you who dont know, the fraud in MN PIP coverage is rampant. You can blame the most powerful lobbyists in MN, trial lawyers and chiropractic groups for that.

Thanks for having the intelligence to shine a light on this mis guided \”profession\” Doctors please a \”science founded on what a polish immigrant who did not finish high school \”observed and practiced\” on the janitor who worked for him at his family run grocery store. D D Palmer — link them to fraud on workers comp and auto claims in every state. Trial lawyers and chiropractors together any wonder it is all screwed up?
