Trying to sell more prosthetics? How many limbs or joints can a person have? Either they have them or they don\’t. If they don\’t, then they should be able to receive them without \”special\” reductions in insurance.

My last limb cost over $13,000. This is an enourmous cost my health plan in Michigan won\’t cover at all. This would be classed as a catastophic cost for most households. Why shouldn\’t this cost be included? A lot of plans exclude this and other actual replacement of hardware, such as hearing aids. To me this is poor thinking.

People are paying an arm and a leg for insurance already. Cover it!
