    As a UP snomobiler, the season was extremely short. Of course deaths will drop with decrease in activity. I like the little play on words used in the article….Drinking was a factor in 62 percent of the fatal accidents. A FACTOR not a CAUSE. How about giving some concrete numbers instead of implying alcohol is the CAUSE of the majority of these deaths. That\’s a joke! More pro-MADD Michigan agents spreading propaganda in an attempt to try to ban alcohol or lower BAC limits. Get real! Check out http://www.JohnDee.com if you are into sledding.

    How astute: less snow leads to a reduction in fatalities. Less booze does the same. Who would have thought it?
    Perhaps this favorable trend should be used to support continued global warming – quick call Gore!
