I want my handout like the Katrina folks got. I was stuck in my house for two days and no one sent the national guard to rescue me. I even had to dig my way out of my driveway all by myself. Where was the federal gov\’t when this happened? Where was the Iowa Governor? Why weren\’t they prepared to evacuate me?

Maybe I should sue my homeowners policy because my home had to have been structurally damaged from the high winds and all the snow on the roof. It was Wind-driven snow! I am sure that isn\’t excluded.

Well, Iowan….It\’s apparent SOMEONE in Iowa plans on collecting from FEMA….. otherwise there would be no need for a presidential disaster declaration. The point is, a lot of people in the Katrina Zone were adversely affected by the hurricane, but did NOT collect from FEMA.
I\’m sure there will be a little fraud from Iowans attempting to collect from FEMA, too.

Better yet, Iowan…like sentiments made to Katrina victims….why even bother with it? Snow storms will occur again next year…could be worse. You should just pack up and leave and find some other place to live…preferably that\’s disaster free.

You were stuck for two days???? There are still Katrina Victims living in trailer homes and not even in New Orleans.
