I agree. Dummies. Certainly the criminals were dummies, but the courts and prosecutors are the bigger dummies. When insurance fraud is punished with a slap on the hand, it opens the flood gates for thousands of others who are looking to make a buck at the expense of you, me, and our premium paying loved ones. Throw them in jail.
It\’s ridiculous that these people are basically being allowed to get away with crimes like this. These felons aren\’t made to pay back all the money netted in this fruad. Instead have to pay some insignificant fine and get away with community service no jail time. It\’s not like there is any doubt that these people committed the crime. Officials have visual proof that these people actually committed the crime. Where is the justice this?
I know the people who did this and the ones who owned the car got off easy. I do know for a fact that the tape was not given as part of a divorce settlement it was given to the proper authorities by one of the witnesses to make things right. Don\’t comment unless you know all the facts.
