credit scoring has made my job harder. the companies dumped it on my desk, and told me to handle it withthe policyholders. they showed no effort to expain this to the public. what a mess it has been for me. its only fair that they get involved with the public since they created this procedure. by the way i have not seen any connection of credit to loss.

I agree with \”drudy\”. I retired from being a 23 year Underwriter with the Hartford. We were always told to send a Notice of Non-renewal whenever we had to reissue a policy(renewal)in a higher priced policy. I also agree that I was NEVER in agreement with Credit Scoring. There are too many factors beyond the control of the insured that can affect their credit scoring and I also never saw any correlation between losses and poor credit. IMO – this is just another way for insurance companies to justify making more profit by issuing policies in higher rated priced policies. Credit Scoring should be entirely eliminated – in ALL States!
