How low have we gone in this world where these sorts of acts take place? His punishment should not be 115 years…how about put him in a wooden shed, and pur lacquer over him and set HIM ablaze…what a sicko…too many people get off too easily these days for capital crimes. This just sickens me…

i agree with Arthur. only you need some method to keep him in the shed. how about stapeling a importand portion of his body to a timber and giving him a rusty knife. then he could make the decision to stay or not

It is unfortunate to see the lengths that people will go to when it comes to money. It hurts the insurance industry and the agents as well.

In addition to laundering money, killing his own, supposed beloved mother by arson, commiting insurance and bankruptcy fraud, Thomspson used his own children as pawns in his schemes. Thompson, a brilliant and well-educated man, manipulated everyone he came in contact with–to get at their money, exploit all situations that he could and take advantage of all who came in contact with him. He manipulated everybody, even brainwashing his eldest son, William, and implicating him in his evil-doing–so that William would remain loyal to him. This is a very sad case, with the lives of children, not to mention his former wife, absolutely devastated, financially and emotionally, by this man\’s supreme acts of violence. He is a monstrously evil man. Indeed, MARC Thompson is monstrously evil man capable of inflicting hideous harm on others.

Only one person could write like (XYZ) and she is right, I knew this so called man, what an arogant jerk that thought he was superior to everyone! He is a very scarey individual and for everyones sake hope he doesn\’t get the chance to ever get out of jail.

Family is everything and he had it all, but money was much more important to him
Going to jail for the rest of his life, he left behind a wonderful ex wife and 3 fabulous children. My prayers and thoughts are with them all daily!

I knew Marc thompson in the 80s and he was not the person I\’m reading about in the papers. Back then he came across as arrogant and snobby but he did have a considerate, kind side. He spoke abou this mother with pride (she lived in Sacramento). I find it hard to believe that he would harm her. Or can people change that much in 20 years??

I\’ve known Thompson for over 25 years as a trader and personally and there is nothing he would not do for money or to get what he wants. He is absolutely a psychopath and psychopaths can convince you of anything. He could lie with a straight face, even cry tears to improve his position to get sympathy. I believe he did it. And I believe there is much more we don\’t even know about.

Yes, I also knew ABC, and let me tell you she went through hell both with Marc and the people he paid off to make her life and her childrens lives miserable. She is a fabulous person and the kids just happy and wonderful people. I hope this guy never gets out of jail…
