The biggest way to reduce risk is to set a code of ethics for contractors iin this nation to produce a quality product when constructing a building. Americans, bar none, make the worst quality sructures in any industrialized nation today. In other words, they manufacture defective, substandard construction and the insurance companies worm out of paying settlements when mold proliferates due to piss poor craftsmanship, and eventually the unsuspecting consumer is ultimately the one who suffers; they become ill and they are taken advantage of by the insurance companies and everyone involved. This adds more insult to injury because its the insurance companies and drug companies whoo own this country, not these crappy contractors. Why don’t they at least try to do something right?
