The company that I work for does not allow us to occupy a space above the 3rd floor if the building is not sprinklered. This is a logical life-safety issue as respects to both liability and workers comp. What would the building owners do when hopefully most companies smarten up and protect their workers by adopting the same rule and noone wants to occupies these spaces?
