Claimsnet.com inc., a provider of Internet-based ASP electronic claim processing solutions for the healthcare industry, announced that a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) in Michigan has elected to use Claimsnet’s system and services.

This HMO is a for-profit organization serving 25,000 members in the Detroit area. The network consists of physicians, hospitals, and ancillary and pharmacy services offering round the clock health care services to its members. Emergency services are covered in and out of their service area. The company will use Claimsnet’s Internet-based system and clearinghouse services to allow submission of health insurance claims from the wide array of providers throughout their network.

“We are very pleased to be working with this midwest based HMO. Their requirements called for an innovative, proven solution and we were able to meet their needs,” Don Crosbie, CEO of Claimsnet, said. “Implementation is now in process and the client should be fully operational soon.”
