my employer is a well known medical homecare provider all over the USA, they did not have w/c, and were not self insured. It is me who is penalized..the injured worker. When w/c approves something, they appeal it, because they are having to pay penny for penny for everything, so they fight it, causing me to have delayed proper medical care. I think they should have no rights whatsoever since they hired me with the premise they had w/c but didn’t.

Making the owners personally liable for non-compliance would sure help.
Wouldn’t it be just peachy if they would spend half as much time making sure that claims get paid as they do shaking down employers.
