ADESA Kansas City named Rob Reed as its new fleet/lease manager. ADESA Kansas City is one of 53 wholesale vehicle remarketing auctions owned by Indianapolis-based ADESA Corp., an ALLETE company.

Reed, the former national account manager at ADESA Dallas, will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with ADESA Kansas City’s fleet, lease and captive finance customers.

“Around 30 percent of ADESA Kansas City customers are from banks, rental companies and dealers looking to move large fleets,” said Steve Hodges, general manager for ADESA Kansas City. “Rob’s experience in national sales as well as his knowledge of the auction industry will help to build and maintain strong, positive relationships with these customers. I’m excited to have him on my management team.”
