Everest Re Group CEO Announces Retirement at Year End 2019

The Board of Directors of Everest Re Group, Ltd. has been informed by its President and Chief Executive Officer, Dominic J. Addesso, that he will retire at the end of his contract term on December 31, 2019. As a result, the Board is undertaking a search as part of its succession planning process which will include a review of internal and external candidates for the position effective in 2020.

RLI Announces Claim Department Leadership Promotions

Speciality insurer RLI Corp. announced it has promoted several leaders within its claim department. The following promotions are effective immediately.

Nic Mesco, assistant vice president, claims has been promoted to vice president, claims with executive leadership responsibility for RLI’s Casualty product claims. Mesco joined RLI in 2013 as claim director and was promoted to assistant vice president in 2016. Prior to joining RLI, he was an attorney at Tressler LLP. Mesco has more than 11 years of insurance industry experience.

Matt Campen, assistant vice president, claims has been promoted to vice president, claims with executive leadership responsibility for RLI’s Property, Marine and Surety product claims. Campen joined RLI in 2013 as claim director and was promoted to assistant vice president, claims in 2017. Prior to joining RLI, he was a commercial catastrophe claim manager at Zurich North America. Campen has 15 years of insurance industry experience.

Will Irish, assistant vice president, claims has been promoted to vice president, claims with executive leadership responsibility for RLI’s Transportation, Non-Transportation Auto and Personal Umbrella product claims. Irish joined RLI in 2016. Prior to joining RLI, he was zonal vice president, claims at AIG. Irish has 32 years of insurance industry experience.

Franklin Insurance Adjusters Hires Mullin as New VP of Operations

N.J.-based Franklin Insurance Adjusters, Inc., hired Melissa Mullin as vice president of Operations.

Mullin brings with her over twenty years of experience in business development, branding, management and company revenue growth. She has worked in the insurance claims industry since 2002, with a focus on helping companies strengthen their brand for client growth. She also provides a unique advantage thanks to her background in cyber-technology, property damage claims and management.

In her new role, she will oversee day-to-day operations of FIA as it continues to expand its national presence with a focus on strategic planning and goal-setting.

Prior to joining FIA, Mullin was with ClaimsPages.com for 16 years where she held multiple positions, including associate VP of Sales, western branch manager and national trainer.
