I belive the term used now is Climate Change. And, yes, I do believe that we should do all we can to protect our plant Earth. The Earth is going through it’s cycles. Back in the 70s the sceintist were saying we were headed for an ice age. Then Gore came along with all his lies. He should be stripped of his Noble Prize.
I guess the Stimulus money made it up to Canada for this “scientist” to do a report on the already debunked theories of Global Warming. They can’t seem to explain why global temperatures have actually been cooling for the past 10 years. Now that is a real head scratcher, isn’t it?
These idiot Global Warming freaks including our former VP still cling to their theories in hope of convincing someone they are right when the evidence points in the other direction. Now they are trying say “Climate Change” thinking that will sound better. This planet has changed climates for eons without any help from mankind. The hot air emanates from Washington DC and these so called scientists who have nothing better to do with their time.
They deny the obvious only because it was a Democrat that made the issue clear as day. If Sarah Palin or Newt Gingrich were out talking about the damage our environemnt has suffered as a result of warming, the deniers instead would be hollering “Me Tooooooo”.
Am I wrong – but doesn’t planting trees help reduce or eliminate caron dioxide or something? It seems to me that trees to something very good for our atmoshpere, but I can’t quite remember exactly what off the top of my head. So – regardless shouldn’t we be planting more trees everywhere, stop denuding the Amazon etc. Trees do good things to improve our air, so how come Gore and his cronies aren’t pushing planting trees?
Sarah Palin’s show on the timber harvesting in Alaska pointed out that they plant more trees than they cut down. This is truly a replenishable resource. Yes, trees eat Carbon Dioxide and give off oxygen. In fact, they must have CO2 or they will die. We would also have more oxygen if the government stopped paying farmers to not grow crops. That is one of the most idiotic things government does and our tax money is going to it. The AG Department is a joke.
