All you have to do is to blow the pirates into atom sized pieces. Then, there are no further actions needed.

I can just imagine what life would have been like in WW 2 if these cretins had forced the Allies into pampering Hitler’s storm troopers as they murdered and pludered their way accross Europe.

Since when have the Pirates been a problem? They haven’t had a winning season since Carter was president. They are the laughing stock of the city of Pittsburgh, which has boasted both NFL and NHL champions.

But why arrest them? They are certainly trying. It’s just that a small-market team can’t compete against the likes of the Red Sox and Yankees. The ‘legal process’ just won’t help this ragtag group of minor leaguers. And all the way to the UN Security Council? I didn’t realize that baseball had this kind of following among Islamists.

    Oh… THOSE pirates? Never mind.

Yeah, there weren’t even any pirates until Bush came along and invented them.

Hey genius, the entire Obooba Administration is piratical.

Well, I’m sure I don’t want all that oil going into the water when the tanker sinks, so scratch that. Do we still have those bombs that don’t harm structures, but kill humans? Forget what they were called….

Doesn’t seem to be any law in Somalia, so why is there a “legal” problem? Dump ’em off the ship & feed the fish.

We blow them up BEFORE they gon on board the tanker. That minimizes the flotsam and jetsom left in the ocean water.

It might make sense to set a safe zone around commercial vessels of maybe 600 yards or so. There would have to be an understanding that violating the safe zone would cause the merchant vessel to open fire on the intruding vessel and in effect “blow them up”.

Since piracy occurs in international waters, the pirates have no rights nor should civilized nations worry about them. If caught, they should be summarily executed. Maybe then they’d get the message their behavior is unacceptable. There are too many liberals in the world whose first concern is the legal implications of blowing your nose. When someone makes the decision to behave outside the norms of society, they should forfeit their rights and protection the law abiding citizens enjoy. All bets are off when some jerk offs from 3rd world ghettos try to steal a ship an put lives in danger. They should be shot on sight and their toy boats sunk. What has been the response? Pay the ransom and give them incentive to keep doing it.
