All we need to do is enforce strict building codes to stunt affordable development, make energy consumption so expensive that businesses all move overseas, create a second tax via “carbon credits,” stop using paper and stop using wood for anything, but plastics are bad too because they’re made of crude oil so we can’t use plastics either, gas should be $100 a gallon so nobody could drive or fly, and we should probably mandate retrofitting of all older buildings with green technologies, of course we would have to subsidize those improvements with taxpayer money. Don’t eat meat, since those pesky animals exude so much CO2 and use so much food and water. Better not build any coal plants, and nuclear’s too dangerous, so we’ll have to mandate energy caps for individuals and businesses.

Then we can all hold hands and sing, even though we’d all be living in caves again.

You paint a funny mental picture Matt.

As soon as I saw this article’s headline I groaned. I am so sick of global warming alarmism. Ugh.

    Stop the insanity, puhleeze.

Dozens of articles. Everything you wanted to know about carbon and climate: guess what? Atmospheric carbon goes up as a result of the earth cooling. Guess what again? As the hysteria increases, up goes Algore’s income AND energy usage.

With the world coming to an end (according to everything we read) we won’t even be here in 2050. Kinda reminds me of the song “2525”.

Chilly, given that organization takes money from the likes of ExxonMobil to the tune of $100,000+ and the founders were all on the payroll of Western Fuels Association at one point or another, I find any information they provide to be rather tainted. One of their projects was even commissioned by a front group of Western Fuels Association.

Truth?: To question organizations or findings requires honest skepticism. You and your comrads simply crucify anyone and everything that does not fit your agenda.
The reason there is a disproportionate distribution of wealth in the world is not tne unequal distribution money; it is because of the unequal distribution of capitalism through entrepreneurial opportunity. If you want to live in the 18th century, that’s your choice; NOT MINE!

Yeah, they’re a bunch of corporate shills.

Dr. Idso is the former Director of Environmental Science at Peabody Energy in St. Louis, Missouri and is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, American Geophysical Union, American Meteorological Society, Arizona-Nevada Academy of Sciences, Association of American Geographers, Ecological Society of America, and The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.

It’s this guy and his family. What organization are you talking about? James Hansen on the other hand, one of your heroes I’d bet, has taken $100k’s from George Soros http://newsbusters.org/blogs/noel-sheppard/2007/09/26/nasa-s-hansen-mentioned-soros-foundations-annual-report
and said the other day that people who disagree with him should be locked up, http://newsbusters.org/blogs/noel-sheppard/2008/06/23/nasas-hansen-oil-execs-should-be-tried-crimes-against-humanity

What ended the last Ice Age? You know, before there were any Exxon or SUV’s or evil USA. Please let us know ASAP.
