If we pump more CO2 into the air plants will grow bigger since they inhale CO2. This means they will exhale more O2, and we’re back to square one – so this won’t change nothin.
I am not sure I get this-if the artic melts, then this capsule will be released from the ice and fall into the fjord and ostensibly the ocean where it would be of no use. If the amount of ice remains static or increases, then the capsule would be locked away forever, become lost or missing and also be of no use. And this is what the UN and that wacky PM of Norway think is a good use of public funds? WOW-I guess that they have money to burn(or would that make global warming worse).
“And this is what the UN and that wacky PM of Norway think is a good use of public funds?”
It doesn’t matter if it has any connection to reality. To quote the late great Wm. F. Buckley, conservatism is the politics of reality, liberalism is the politics of abstraction and ideology.
If the arctic ice cap totally melted away, it would not raise sea level an inch.
How do I figure that? Here’s a risky scientific experiment I want you to perform. Please do it when the house is empty so no one but you gets hurt.
Fill a glass with ice. Then fill it with water or your favorite adult beverage or whatever. Fill it all the way up to the tippy top. Now go write a check to Greenpeace or whatever, and let the ice melt. Let me know if the liquid in the glass overflows when all the ice melts.
Do I believe in global warming? Yes, it’s a natural phenomenon. Otherwise, what ended the last Ice Age?
