As an ex-Marsh guy who endured the Jeff Greenberg culture I can only say that Marsh has it coming. They allowed this situation to deteriorate even after great people left, their ethics were successfully challenged, revenue plunged and on and on. If this is true one of the oldest, proudest and largest insurance brokers will be gone from the map.
Having been there myself, I commend you on using the word ‘endure’. That, my friend, is a suitable word. But now, the tables have turned. Such irony – even Shakespeare would have a field day. I am keeping a nice bottle of wine at the ready…as are many others who have also ‘endured’ but managed to get out of that quagmire. I just hope the honest client reps and assistants are spared when heads start rolling. And roll they will as surely as the sun will rise.
Having ENDURED at their Indian office….I can tell you everyone who had eyes…saw this coming…feel sad for marsh since it was a powerhouse…but as someone said here..even I am keeping the wine bottle ready…bye bye marsh
I also was a casualty of the Spitzer lawsuit as were many talented people. What many of us have observed is that Marsh can not seem to shed its attitude of being superior even as it continues to lose good employees and accounts. A little humility would have gone a long way. Now it is undoubtably too late.

Que buen vasallo si tuviese buen señor ….
Good Riddance! Marsh is a plague on the honest brokerage community. The sooner Darwinian forces do what they must, the better!
