Schwarzenegger and Gore arrived in the former’s customized H1 Hummer which had been modified to run on dreams and pixie dust. Both left the vehicle with shirts off and smog colored camo BDUs and face paint shouting “We’re declaring war on global warming – It’s a world war!” while firing ecologically friendly, bio-degradable bullets in the air from automatic weapons.

They later had to be subdued by Captain Planet.

What I like is the obvious dig at President Bush, “highlighted by their presence President Bush’s absence from the eight hours of high-level speechmaking Monday on what to do about global warming.”

A very interesting article on global warming by Peter Du Pont, on better things we can do for the earth:

It could be that President Bush was dealing with real matters, instead of playing like he was doing something important.

Chilly, thanks for spreading the word on Soros. He is a very evil man who has the souless Dems in his pocket, and is out to ruin the United States.

He is the devil. He spent $74M on political activism last year alone, and .001% of the population ever even heard of him.

Chilly, did they cut your message off? I’ve got to wonder why. Did you have anything in your post that controversial?

Yeah, they deep sixed my initial post. Truth hurts I guess. For some reason this site is really pushing the whole global warming scariness. They must have stock in an ethanol company. Or maybe they’re owned by George Soros, the devil himself.

    Here it is again:

George Soros is known for funding groups such as MoveOn.org that seek to manipulate public opinion. So why is the billionaire’s backing of what he believes in problematic? In a word: transparency.

How many people, for instance, know that James Hansen, a man billed as a lonely “NASA whistleblower” standing up to the mighty U.S. government, was really funded by Soros’ Open Society Institute , which gave him “legal and media advice”?

That’s right, Hansen was packaged for the media by Soros’ flagship “philanthropy,” by as much as $720,000, most likely under the OSI’s “politicization of science” program.

That may have meant that Hansen had media flacks help him get on the evening news to push his agenda and lawyers pressuring officials to let him spout his supposedly “censored” spiel for weeks in the name of advancing the global warming agenda.

There’s more if you follow the link.

Oh yeah, we’re really as bad as the Nazis because of Bush, etc. It’s known as BDS (Bush Drengement Syndrome). It’s reaching epidemic proportions.

Liberalism is political narcissism coupled with the need for the remission of guilt for having any benefits in life, real or perceived.
