A.M. Best Co. announced that it has reviewed all of its ratings on a number of Lloyd’s Syndicates, following the affirmation of Lloyd’s financial strength rating (FSR) of “A” (Excellent) and issuer credit rating (ICR) of “a” (See IJ web site March 30). Best said its revision of its outlook to positive from stable for Lloyd’s ICR has also affected its Syndicate ratings as follows:
— The Best’s Syndicate Rating of A (Excellent) and ICR of “a” of Lloyd’s Syndicate 1084 have been affirmed. The outlook on the Best’s Syndicate Rating remains stable, in line with the outlook on Lloyd’s FSR, and the outlook on the ICR has been revised to positive from stable to reflect the outlook change on the Lloyd’s ICR.
— The Best’s Syndicate Rating of A (Excellent) and ICR of “a” of Lloyd’s Syndicate 1225 have been affirmed. The outlook on the Best’s Syndicate Rating remains stable, in line with the outlook on Lloyd’s FSR, and the outlook on the ICR has been revised to positive from stable to reflect the outlook change on the Lloyd’s ICR.
— The Best’s Syndicate Rating of A (Excellent) and ICR of “a” of Lloyd’s Syndicate 2003 have been affirmed. The outlook on the Best’s Syndicate Rating remains stable, in line with the outlook on Lloyd’s FSR, and the outlook on the ICR has been revised to positive from stable to reflect the outlook change on the Lloyd’s ICR.
— The Best’s Syndicate Rating of A (Excellent) and ICR of “a” of Lloyd’s Syndicate 2007 have been affirmed. The outlook on the Best’s Syndicate Rating remains stable, in line with the outlook on Lloyd’s FSR, and the outlook on the ICR has been revised to positive from stable to reflect the outlook change on the Lloyd’s ICR.
— The Best’s Syndicate Rating of A (Excellent) and ICR of “a” of Lloyd’s Syndicate 2010 have been affirmed. The outlook on the Best’s Syndicate Rating remains stable, in line with the outlook on Lloyd’s FSR, and the outlook on the ICR has been revised to positive from stable to reflect the outlook change on the Lloyd’s ICR.
— The Best’s Syndicate Rating of A (Excellent) and ICR of “a” of Lloyd’s Syndicate 3000 have been affirmed. The outlook on the Best’s Syndicate Rating remains stable, in line with the outlook on Lloyd’s FSR, and the outlook on the ICR has been revised to positive from stable to reflect the outlook change on the Lloyd’s ICR.
— The Best’s Syndicate Rating of A (Excellent) and ICR of “a+” of Lloyd’s Syndicate 33 have been affirmed. The outlook on both ratings has been revised to positive from stable to reflect the outlook change on Lloyd’s ICR.
— The Best’s Syndicate Rating of A (Excellent) and ICR of “a+” of Lloyd’s Syndicate 382 have been affirmed. The outlook on both ratings has been revised to positive from stable to reflect the outlook change on Lloyd’s ICR.
— The Best’s Syndicate Rating of A (Excellent) and ICR of “a+” of Lloyd’s Syndicate 510 have been affirmed. The outlook on both ratings has been revised to positive from stable to reflect the outlook change on Lloyd’s ICR.
— The Best’s Syndicate Rating of A (Excellent) and ICR of “a+” of Lloyd’s Syndicate 570 have been affirmed. The outlook on both ratings has been revised to positive from stable to reflect the outlook change on Lloyd’s ICR.
— The Best’s Syndicate Rating of A (Excellent) and ICR of “a+” of Lloyd’s Syndicate 609 have been affirmed. The outlook on both ratings has been revised to positive from stable to reflect the outlook change on Lloyd’s ICR.
— The Best’s Syndicate Rating of A (Excellent) and ICR of “a+” of Lloyd’s Syndicate 623 have been affirmed. The outlook on both ratings has been revised to positive from stable to reflect the outlook change on Lloyd’s ICR.

— The Best’s Syndicate Rating of A (Excellent) and ICR of “a+” of Lloyd’s Syndicate 958 have been affirmed. The outlook on both ratings has been revised to positive from stable to reflect the outlook change on Lloyd’s ICR.
— The Best’s Syndicate Rating of A (Excellent) and ICR of “a+” of Lloyd’s Syndicate 2001 have been affirmed. The outlook on both ratings has been revised to positive from stable to reflect the outlook change on Lloyd’s ICR.
— The Best’s Syndicate Rating of A+ (Superior) and ICR of “aa-” of Lloyd’s Syndicate 1414 have been affirmed. The outlook for both ratings remains stable. The ratings continue to reflect explicit support from American Home Assurance Company.
