    Thumb down 0

The punch line to this story is:

\”TSR more or less accurately predicted the intense hurricane activity in 2004-05, but, along with all of the other forecasters, its predictions for 2006 didn\’t materialize\”

So here we go again, another above average hurricane season like the one they called for just this year that destroyed New Orleans again… Oh yeah, it was a calm year for hurricanes.

The only disappointing part of this story is there is no direct mention to global warming, the man-made condition that caused utter havoc in the 2006 hurricane season… I forgot, it was a mild year.

Let\’s just face it, hurricanes, like the weather in general, can not be predicted even when they are forming, let alone, a year in advance. But it will again be the worst year on record…
