Last year Discover Magazine had an article about the effect of solar flares on earth weather.
Since then I\’ve been watching the NASA web site information on solar flares.
Each time we have a period of warm weather, five days before was a sizeable flare. It takes roughly 5 days for the flare to get from sun to earth.
In north Texas we had a record heat of 85 degrees Jan 3, 2006. Roughly 5 days before was a flare NASA called a solar stream.
This cause and effect makes more sense than sheep having gas and people mowing too much.
I invite everyone to watch this pattern. Check it out for yourself.

Not this BULL$%^& again! Global warming, what a pile of crap! Now AIG is involved in this? It just legitimizes the whole notion that anything can even be done about it-the hysteria is the real disaster.

The biggest cause of global warming is summer.
The problem reality is that if you cannot blame someone or some group it\’s no good for a political advantage.

Lemme guess … Hal & Tigertail both educated in Kansas and moved to Texas to be closer to #43? We wouldn\’t want scientific methods to disrupt your own personal realities.

Just keep your heads in the sand Ol\’ Boys, with the rest of the dinosaur remains.

Interesting theory, Hal. I would appreciate the NASA site you reference.

Per the Website of the Union of Concerned Scientists:
    \”Global Warming 101
2005 Vies for Hottest Year on Record
    ——————————————————————————–
Global average surface temperatures pushed 2005 into a virtual tie with 1998 as the hottest year on record.[1] For people living in the Northern Hemisphere—most of the world\’s population—2005 was the hottest year on record since 1880, the earliest year for which reliable instrumental records were available worldwide.

Because most global warming emissions remain in the atmosphere for decades or centuries, the energy choices we make today greatly influence the climate our children and grandchildren inherit. We have the technology to increase energy efficiency, significantly reduce these emissions from our energy and land use, and secure a high quality of life for future generations. We must act now to avoid dangerous consequences.\”

So then what ended the last Ice Age, genius? Any moderate volcanic explosionlike Pinatubo puts more gasses and solids into the atmosphere than the entire result of human activity for all time. Global warming is nothing but Reds masquerading as Greens, with sheople following.

SCIENTISTS CLAIM FINAL PROOF OF GLOBAL WARMING
    By Mark Henderson

Science Correspondent, The Times, 6 May 2004

POWERFUL evidence for global warming has been discovered by scientists funded by the US Government, demolishing the chief argument of sceptics who deny that the phenomenon is real.

A new analysis of satellite data has revealed that temperatures in a critical part of the atmosphere are rising much faster than previously thought, strengthening the scientific consensus that the world is warming at an unnatural rate.
