I know this story sounds like something from the Onion, but I can vouch for something like this happening. I have sheep on my little hobby farm and My friend drove his black pickup truck into the field to dump some brush and my ram saw his reflection in the drivers side door and bolted right for it and put a big *** dent in the door. Sheep was fine, but it costs me $800 to fix the door. Needless to say, he became dog food the next week! Bush wins!!!!!!

While in the service in Greece, one evening I hit and killed a sheep. I paid for its wool, for a life time, its offsprings, for a life time, and the offsprings wool and meat for a lifetime.AS luck would have it, the military required us to carry insurance. Don’t know how the adjuster ever figured it out.

In Christianity, we are God’s sheep.
Christ paid the ultimate penalty for our sins and the sins to come, and to the offspring who will proceed us, and their offspring. Christ gave his life not just for our present lifetime but also into our eternity. All we have to do is accept, believe, and like sheep, follow.

I guess you could consider this incident, a “reflection” of us. Are we so stunned by our own reflection that we don’t recognize our own selves and we cause harm? Such is the case of a “lost” sheep, and Christ the good Shepard leads us out of harms way.
