GAB Robins Receives China Operating License

New Jersey-based GAB Robins Group of Companies, one of the world’s leading claims services firms, announced that the China Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC) has awarded the company a license to operate in China.

GAB Robins becomes the first global loss adjusting firm to provide services to the Chinese insurance industry. “The license, which is effectively immediately, enables GAB Robins to provide a full range of loss adjusting services and coincides with the official opening of GAB Robins China Co. Limited,” said the bulletin. “GAB Robins China Co. Limited is headquartered in Shanghai and includes service centers in such major cities as Nanjing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Xiamen and Beijing.”

Limited,” stated Group Chairman Jun Tsusaka. “The Chinese insurance market offers unparalleled growth opportunities and we are delighted to contribute to its continued development.”

Lily Li, who served has served as Chief Representative of GAB Robins’ Representative Office in Beijing since 2000, becomes chairman of GAB Robins China Co. Limited.
