While I feel empathy for anyone impacted by a hurricane and the aftermath, I can only say “wah, wah, wah” for those whining about no power, etc. after 3 days. It’s not easy work restoring power, repairing lines, etc.; try going without for 13 days and we’ll talk.
Renegade, the multitude of complaints are not directed to the line workers and folks actually doing the restoration work. And PS here in Easton we are now in day 7 of no power, not whining, this is nothing other than a complete failure of UI planners and leaders to properly equip/prepare the grid to withstand such a relatively mild storm. We need to start burying the lines as an infrastructure oppty, and you need to go chill out – it’s hot out there and if you are a linesman then thank you.
