    a completely ridiculous reaction by the school and they deserve to be sued.
    if she had been to one of the three problem countries then I would be in complete agreement with a waiting period. in this case it makes no sense. proffessional educators should have better common sense.

      I disagree- I wouldn’t want my daughter interacting with someone who may have been exposed to Ebola. What about the rights of all the other children and their families not to be exposed to a deadly virus? The risk may be low, but there is still a risk.

      Agreed – it was an overreaction as the kid didn’t go to one of the “problem” countries and, basically, had been medically cleared.

    I’m siding with Stephen Opayemi, his daughter and all others who are unfairly, unjustly, and indiscriminately subjected to quarantine. I’m tired of the panic-driven insanity of our government and local administrations. It really isn’t too much to ask our citizenry to stop, think, and weigh the facts (rather than rumors and inuendos) before making a decision.
