Drug Seekers Thwarted by Virginia’s Prescription Database

    Now the addicts are turning to street drugs. Just look at the heroine epidemic which will worsen as a result of government interfering with the doctor patient relationship. The data base is a good thing but restricting the amount and what types of pain medications doctors can prescribe is not the governments’ responsibility. If a doctor is guilty of not practicing in their patient’s best interest, the doctor should be punished, not the victims of chronic pain
