    This would have been a great time to have had Uninsured Motorist PD. Kinda surprising that a polcie department wouldn’t have had that. The liability nature of that cover would cover all “legal liability” which should be more than the contractual remdy of the collisoin cover.

    When you damage someone’s property you’re only entitled to the actual cash value of the property. Great article; they aren’t entitled to any more from the wrongdoer. First party auto doesn’t cover the replacement with a new vehicle either. Cannot believe an “insurance” publication actually wrote this drivel.
