    Why is it the City’s responsbility to find private citizens housing?? Particulalry 7 months after the fact?
    Did the City have some sort of role in creating the Hurricane and/or it’s devastating effects? What has this country become? A bunch of sniveling sissy’s. Commies.

    I agree w/Reagan. If these people didn’t have H.O. or Renters insurance to cover “additional living expense” they’re out of luck and the responsible taxpayers shouldn’t have to pay for their stupidity and ignorance. There isn’t an endless supply of money in our economy and freebies like this shouldn’t be tolerated. And in NYC hotels? How the hell did that happen. I’ll bet those people aren’t in any big hurry to get their asses out and find other housing. They should have been put in shelters or at least given a time limit. This is _ull_shit.
