In Maine (likely in other states, too) they are using some sort of cable system on a local highway to prevent head-on collisions. Instead of the usual metal guardrail, there is a line of cable down the median. It seems like it shouldn’t work, but apparently it does guide cars back toward the road and away from the opposite lane of travel. Perhaps the state or town could look into something like that here. We all know if the homeowner puts up a retaining wall or other barrier and someone crashes into it and dies, their estate will sue the homeowner for creating a hazard.

Gives new meaning to the phrase “gate crasher”! If were having a party, the girl would have been a “party crasher”. Somebody stop me…

I hope he does not take too much time to consider that barrier. At this rate another driver is around the corner.

The State needs to take preventative measures here, before this man loses his life in his own home due to no fault of his own.
