Time for a new news story, what about the elected officials of Pennsylvania who stood around and did nothing?
As Attorney General, Tom Corbett received over $647,000 in campaign contributions from members of the Second Mile Foundation, while only assigning one investigator to the case.
Meanwhile, at the same time, he assigned 14 investigators to Bill Deweese, who spent more than 5 years trying to get him.
It is difficult to believe these campaign contributions did not improperly influence his decision to not file charges against Jerry Sandusky.
The state police trooper who initially handled the Clinton County case against Jerry Sandusky believed there was enough evidence from a teenage boy — now known as Victim One– to charge Sandusky with indecent assault.
This is bunch of crap. Neither the student body nor the athletic teams had anything to do with this scandal. It was a few individuals who created the problem and attempted to cover it up. They should be prosecuted individually. I’ll bet Penn State’s president walked away will a parachute and full pension. Let those who are responsible pay. This piling on is nauseating. In the meantime, tens of thousands of alumni and students are being punished.
I just dropped State Farm insurance and went with Geico. Many Penn State fans told me to do it, so I did it because I am a close friend with many of them (not a fan of college ball) and boy am I glad I did. Much better rates with Geico. I’ve heard that the word is out to all Penn State football fans to drop State Farm insurance because of the ban they imposed on TV sponsorship of Penn State games. The bums at State Farm couldn’t care less about the victims of Sandusky’s crimes they just want the publicity.
