Let me see if I have this right. Take away the taser from the officer so then he only has the choice to pull his pistol and shoot the individual. Nothing is 100% but at least the Taser is not designed to kill the person. Got to love the ACLU.
But again, if they’re not to use Tasers and other less lethal or non-lethal weapons are not sufficient to the task, then it leaves only lethal force in dealing with the issue.
Removing less lethal methods, even if only until they are retrained, leaves only more lethal items in the inventory of escalation of force.
Reports of aggressive/violent behavior or assault should be responded to by a K-9 unit. It’s a “natural” solution that will stop just about any jackass in his/her tracks.

What he said!
Or, perhaps provide better training on when and how to use tasers as is being requested.

In other words, it’s a very bad idea.
The headline made it sound like activists came back from the dead to protest Taser use.
