Just because you graduate does not mean you are “entitled” to a job. If you apply yourself to being employed as much as you apply yourself to filing a lawsuit, you will be fine. Grow up! And stop going to Occupy protests.

What CRAP. Any post graduate candidate should be able to research the employment/earning trends for their fields of study and make their own decision whether or not to pursue it. No school guarantees employment after graduation.

      To “Jester” and “What”?:

You both would not be collectively stupid, would you? These people were LIED to because the data was hidden. How can a person make an informed decision on a bunch of lies? Is your reading comprehension off or are you just Republicans, ya fools.

Even now, those schools who have changed their numbers because of pressure from alumni are hiding the ball. They STILL are hiding the true employment stats. Please, both of you, don’t vote. Stay home.

Even if the data was hidden, even if the law schools flat out lied, the fact of the matter is that employment is not guaranteed upon completion of any academic (or otherwise) program. This is no more than a case of entitlement – “We can’t get jobs in our chosen field, so we’re suing”. And what – the prospective law students couldn’t have done any independent research into trends in their chosen fields, they only had the option of believing the brochure? Seriously.

Um…Is your reading comp off? They were LIED to about employment data. Nearly half of all lawyers in this country have non-dischargeable debt and no job…based upon a set of lies. Nobody expected a high paying job, but people did expect some job, especially after acquiring such high debt. The law schools lied about those numbers. How does a person research when the people holding the real information (ABA, law schools, NALP) are not giving the proper numbers? Where to they look? Especially prior to 2009 when NOBODY knew or talked about it. You cannot be this moronic.
