DeBenedetto says he was being treated for hypertension and ate at Denny’s about 10 times in the year before he filed the lawsuit.
10 times in a year? I’m suprised anyone even took that case. I thought it was going to say he ate Denny’s 10 times a week. By his same logic, if he worked out 10 times a year, he would be the picture of health.
I’m not even going to point out that any intelligent individual would know that everything on the menu at Denny’s is ultra high in sodium.
How can anyone even take this seriously. He ate at Denny’s 10 times in the past year and that is the reason for his hypertension? How does stuff like this even go to court?
Dear Colleagues:
You can thank the personal injury bar for this type of crap clogging the system. Judges were lawyers and they certainly won’t do a damn thing about the absurd cases they drag into the court. These lawyers have no pride, ethics, common sense, or shame. All they want is a quick buck. Their brilliant influence also permeates American politics. Is it any wonder the country is on the skids?
I wonder if I can get someone to help me sue Baskin Robbins for having too much sugar in their ice cream….or maybe Starbucks for having too much caffeine in their coffee…..makes just about as much sense…when does the insanity stop?!?!?!?…(and yes, that is a rhetorical question)

You should be careful about what you say – no sense rubbing salt in his wounds – you might get sued!!
So, I guess it came down to the appeals court basically took all of his testimony with a grain of salt…
