Maybe its because I’m from the middle of the midwest, but I almost never hear of a car burning, unless their is something criminal going on. Do car fires happen frequently in the big cities?

I saw a car pull up to a stop sign on my left at an intersection. There was a car ahead of me. While the car ahead of me went through the intesection, I noticed smoke coming out from under the hood of the car. In less than a minute the car was engulfed in flames. Needless to say, the driver got out quickly. Assuming an electrical problem, I don’t care for electric locks that lock you into the car. Pulling the handle will not unlock and open the door in my GM and Chrysler cars.

C’mon, Ms. Biehl..really??? It’s because of people like this that I have to try to explain why insurance rates are so high even for people without bad driving histories. Unbelievable. I hope she gets jail time!
