Rick, you are correct in that Forsythe played the crooked judge (and the defendant, Al Pacino’s client, in the final case). The nutty judge that packed the rifle in the last case was played by Jack Warden. (Wikipedia has a great summarization of the entire movie, for those that have not seen it).
